Make a stunning Hudson Triangle Scarf in vibrant jewel tones! Crocheted from the top down with double crochet and crossed double crochet stitches, it creates a textured, eye-catching design. Quick to work up with light weight yarn, it’s perfect for adding color to any outfit. You can easily turn it into a larger shawl by working extra repeats of Rows 2 and 3, and it can be made with any yarn and hook—just keep repeating until it reaches your desired size.

The free written pattern is available in my post below, or if you prefer, you can purchase the ad-free PDF crochet pattern from my shop.

Helpful Tutorials

Notes:

  • You may substitute a ch-3 and slip stitch to the first ch to form a ring, or a magic ring, for the double magic ring.
  • Initial ch 4 counts as 1 tr.
  • Initial ch 3 counts as a stitch and we do work into it.
  • Sl st to join is made in the first st of the round (which is the top of the ch 3, or first sc).
  • You can make your slip stitches tightly as we will not be working into them.
  • If you’d like to increase the height of the scarf, repeat Row 2 and 3 additional times.
  • Photo tutorial follows the pattern.
