Helpful Tutorials
Notes:
- Stitch multiple is 5+2, add or subtract 5 chains to the given beginning ch to increase or decrease the width.
- Ch 1 at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch and we do not work into it.
- Work more rows for a longer scarf.
- Chain more chains using the stitch multiple, for a wider scarf.
- Starting in row 3, enclose the chain space in the row below, hiding it inside the stitches, when working into the double crochet from 2 rows below.

The Fanfare Scarf is the kind of project that’s easy to take on the go and satisfying to finish in an evening. Quick to crochet, lightweight to wear, and a great way to use up a single ball of variegated yarn. I hope you enjoy crocheting it as much as I did!
