How to Crochet the Third Dimension Afghan Block

R2: Ch 3 (this counts as 1 dc) and 1 dc in the first sc, skip the next ch3sp. *3 dc in the next sc, skip the next ch3sp**. Work from * to ** across to the last sc. Work 2 dc in the last sc. Turn. [19 dc]
R3: Ch 1, 1 sc in the first dc, ch 3. *Skip the next 2 dc, work 1 FPsc around the next dc, ch 3**. Work from * to ** across to the last 3 dc (remember the initial ch 3 from R2 counts as 1 dc). Skip the next 2 dc and make 1 sc in the last dc. Turn. [2 sc, 5 FPdc, 6 ch3sp]
R4: Ch 3, 1 dc in the first sc, skip the next ch3sp. *3 dc in the next FPsc, skip the next ch3sp**. Work from * to ** across to the last sc. 2 dc in the last sc. Turn. [19 dc]

Working around the outside of the afghan block.
Ch 1, turn to work along the top edge of your square (across Row 20). 1 sc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 FPsc in the next st, *1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 1 FPsc in the next st **. Work from * to ** across to the last 3 sts. 1 sc in each of the last 3 sts. Ch 1, rotate to work along the side of your square.
Work 25 sc evenly across the side edge of the square. Ch 1, rotate to work across the bottom of the square.
