The Scarf & Hat of the Month Club CAL is a year-long crochet event that brings crocheters together to make beautiful scarf and hat patterns each month. Every release includes a free online pattern and a 24-hour Premium PDF download. It’s a simple way to stay inspired, crochet along with others, and build a handmade collection of cozy projects.

This year marks our 10th Annual Scarf of the Month Club CAL!

We’ve invited 12 Professional Crochet Designers to participate in this year’s Scarf of the Month CAL and Hat of the Month CAL. You can expect some cozy crochet patterns to become available on the third and fourth Sundays of every month in 2025!

Over the past 10 years Amy and I have designed and shared more than 240 crochet scarf patterns and 96 crochet hat patterns for this annual event. I hope you’ve been able to make some of your favorites over the years!

Free Scarf and Hat Crochet Patterns | Crochet Along

Crocheted scarves, pocket scarves, hooded scarves, cowls and handmade hats make great gifts and they are perfect for donating to people in need in the colder, winter months.

Each month in 2025, 3 brand new scarf patterns and 3 brand new hat patterns will be shared as part of The Scarf of the Month Club and Hat of the Month Club CALS. You can download a Premium PDF copy of each pattern for FREE, but only for the first 24 hours.
